Media Architecture Biennale in June-July 2021

[urban interfaces] co-organizes the Media Architecture Biennale taking place from 28.06 – 02.07. 2021 in Amsterdam and Utrecht in an online format. Under the heading of “Futures Implied” we go beyond the integration of displays and interactive installations into architectural structures and invite for a critical examination of new technologies such as digital platforms and smart city technologies that have increasingly made their way into the experience, management and design of cities. 

This project is a collaboration between Martijn de Waal, Frank Suurenbroek, Tamara Dobler of the Amsterdam University of Applied Science, and Michiel de Lange, Nanna Verhoeff, and Tamalone van den Eijnden of [urban interfaces] at Utrecht University.
